Victor’s LESCANT – General

It was back in 1992 when David Victor published his LESCANT model of International Business Communication.  I still use it today because it seems to be the best way to categorize cultural differences.  The acronym LESCANT stands for Langage, Environment, Social Organization, Context, Authority, Non-Verbal, and Time.  What follows is a brief powerpoint slide presentation where I have summarized some of the major points of the LESCANT model.  LESCANT_general is a smaller file without any photos.  LESCANT_photos is the same file, but with a few photos for illustration:
